All students took a pair of toys of our choice to school, which we sketched and in the end, everyone decided on a toy that they would work with throughout the project. The techniques available to us were ink, monotype, and printmaking.

I decided on the toy Flippy. What I liked most about Flippy was his mobility, structure, and his eyes. He was a joy to work with and to draw, paint and print in different perspectives. For my final picture, I wanted to turn Little Flippy into Big Flippy.
